1. Purpose

Docalo is an online medical consultation service. A licensed doctor reviews your questionnaire and decides whether the treatment is right for you. We never recommend a treatment without a medical assessment.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom. The questionnaire is currently optimised for patients in Spain.

3. Price and payment

Docalo is a monthly membership of €49 covering doctor review, care-team messaging, progress tracking, refill support, and pharmacy coordination. If the doctor determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you and you cannot proceed with it, the membership fee is refunded in full to your original payment method. Medication, if prescribed, is paid separately at the pharmacy.

4. Service limitations

This service does not replace emergency medicine. If you have a health issue that requires immediate attention, call 112 or go to an emergency room.

5. Liability

The doctor reviewing your case acts under their own professional judgement and responsibility. Docalo acts as the technology platform that facilitates the consultation.

6. Intellectual property

The contents of docalo.com (text, images, code) are the property of TrueNorth Telehealth, Inc. unless otherwise indicated.

7. Right of withdrawal

As an online medical consultation service, performance begins immediately with your express consent when you start the clinical questionnaire. Pursuant to article 103.a) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (consumer protection), the right of withdrawal ceases to apply once the medical review has started. Independently of this, if the doctor determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you and you cannot proceed with it, your membership fee is refunded in full.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Madrid, unless a different jurisdiction is required by law.

9. Online dispute resolution

Under Regulation (EU) 524/2013, consumers may use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Before turning to it, we kindly ask you to contact us at hello@docalo.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
